ITINERARY
THE ADVENTURE:
August 12 — Arrive in Alaska and spend the night in Anchorage.
August 13 — Fly to the lodge and begin our bear photography adventure.
August 14–17 — Full days dedicated to photographing bears in the spectacular wilderness of Lake Clark National Park.
August 18 — Early-morning photography session before flying back to Anchorage, with the possibility of beginning your trip home depending on flight connections.
An optional Puffin Island or other photography activity may also be available for an additional $175.
If photographing Alaska’s bears has been on your photography bucket list, 2027 may be the year to finally do it!
And remember: this isn’t simply about seeing bears. This is a PHOTO TOUR. We are going there to come home with photographs—and hopefully some unforgettable images of bears chasing and catching salmon.
With only approximately six openings remaining, I encourage anyone seriously interested to contact me as soon as possible for additional information and booking details.
Want to get a better idea of what an Alaska bear photography adventure is really like?
My book, Bear With Me: A Lens, A Grizzly, and the Adventures of a Lifetime, tells the story of my first Alaska bear photography adventure and the experiences behind the photographs.
If you’re considering joining us in 2027, contact me and request a complimentary PDF copy of Bear With Me. It may give you a taste of the adventure that awaits us in Alaska!
I’m looking forward to working alongside my friend Mike Gulbraa and M&M Photo Tours and sharing this incredible Alaska experience with another great group of photographers.
