ITINERARY Detail

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania -Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Meet at arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing. River Trees Country Inn. {Dinner, Breakfast}

Day 2: ARUSHA - Ngorongoro Conservation Area 

Early morning drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheater, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. Tonight, we are staying on the crater rim, it is quite common for zebra, buffalo and even elephant to be grazing right outside the lodge. Lion's Paw (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

 

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Central Serengeti 

We depart after breakfast to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Upon entering the Serengeti, We are able to game drive all the way to our special camp area with an excellent array of migratory and/or resident wildlife.  Serengeti Sametu Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) 



Day 4: Central Serengeti 

Further game drives in the endless plains, engage in full game drives searching for wildlife while observing them in their natural habitat and also observe various species of birds. later head for dinner and overnight. Serengeti Sametu Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)



Day 5: Central Serengeti

Further game drives in the endless plains, engage in full game drives searching for wildlife while observing them in their natural habitat and also observe various species of birds. later head for dinner and overnight. Serengeti Sametu Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)



Day 6: Central Serengeti – North Serengeti

Depart to north Serengeti for game drives and exploration in the northern part of Serengeti. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are migratory, resident animals and predators for us to observe.

Day 7: North Serengeti 

Enjoy further game drives and exploration in the northern part of Serengeti. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are migratory, resident animals and predators for us to observe. (It is also a perfect location to partake in the breath-taking Serengeti Balloon Safari)



Day 8: NORTH SERENGETI

Enjoy further game drives and exploration in the northern part of Serengeti. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are migratory, resident animals and predators for us to observe. (It is also a perfect location to partake in the breath-taking Serengeti Balloon Safari (additi(nal costs apply).

Day 9: NORTH SERENGETI

Enjoy further game drives and exploration in the northern part of Serengeti. The habitats are natural and we can game drive with a picnic lunch to explore further afield. There are migratory, resident animals and predators for us to observe. Kaskaz Mara Camp (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)



Day 10: North Serengeti - Kilimanajaro International Airport - and beyond.

After breakfast, transfer to Kogatende airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Kilimanjaro International Airport, KOT 1000 / JRO1220 for your departure flight TBA onward arrangement.(Breakfast, lunch).
