Northern Tanzanian photo safari
Tanzania is one of my favorite places to visit in the whole world, and I’m really looking forward to exploring the country and helping you capture photographs of a lifetime!
This classic Northern Tanzanian safari has been created so that we can view wildlife in the various eco-systems of several of Tanzania’s National Parks. We will stay at comfortable, well-situated lodges chosen for their excellent locations and organized in a manner to maximize our game viewing time and minimize our transfer times from park to park. All meals are also included.
Tanzania is home to 'The Big Five,' Game Animals: lions, African elephants, African buffalo, leopards and rhinos. It's a must-see for any African explorer. The safari also provides some cultural opportunities that I found to be wonderful on my previous trips, including a look at how people live and celebrate life in different areas of the country.

Day 1: Leave US to Tanzania, Monday, Aug. 19, 2024
Day 2:Arrive JRO TBA Tuesday August 20, 2024
Welcome to Africa! Arrive JRO TBA, meet shuttle for transfer to accommodation for overnight.

Day 3: Aug. 21, 2024 : Tarangire National Park
We are off Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The large elephant herds, beautiful scenery, interactions with loads of lions and many animals that come for the water supply all make this a great safari option. This park is definitely a place that belongs on your bucket list when visiting Tanzania!

Day 4: Aug . 22, 2024:
Tarangire National Park
We are off Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. Day 5 Aug 23 Ngorongoro Crater
An early start after breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater has earned a fabled reputation as one of Africa's most unique natural wonders, boasting a remarkable concentration of animals living in diverse habitats. It is the biggest intact (unbroken) volcanic caldera on Earth. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders.The Crater offers visitors a high chance of seeing all the members of the Big 5 in one place.

Day 6: Aug. 24, 2024 Northern Serengeti
After Breakfast we drive to Northern Serengeti. From July to October, Wildebeests migrate to the Northern Serengeti in search of richer grazing grounds. Here they enocunter one of the biggest challenges in their joruney. The mighty Mara river! Mara River, which runs through Northern Serengeti and Maasai Mara becomes the setting for one of nature's most spectacular events: the wildebeest river crossing. The violent torrents of the river and the crocodiles waiting in ambush manage to nab and drown quite a few wildebeests. The wildebeests are aware of the dangers, and if you are present there you can actually hear the low nervous grunts of the wildebeests and feel the tension in the air.

Day 7-10 Aug. 25 & 26,27, 28 2024: Northern Serengeti Game Drives
The Northern Serengeti remains an unexplored wilderness packed with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife.The North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope.

Day 11 August 29 2024: Fly back to Arsha
After Breakfast we fly back to Arusha arriving at JRO 1245PM and you will have a day room until your flight home
